Historic district uses modern technology in marketing
Launch party at the Stonington Harbor Yacht Club
Stonington – Pyramid MDT staff recently attended the launch party for one of its newest websites – StoningtonBoroughCT.com at the Stonington Harbor Yacht Club. Members of the Stonington Borough Merchants Association (SBMA) gathered for their first glimpse at the site which showcases nearly 40 businesses in the historic seaside village.
SBMA steering committee members were very pleased with the look and feel of the site as well as the reaction from the other members of the association. Those in attendance were able to get a larger than life look into the site on a 60" plasma screen while PMDT president Thor Torgersen guided the tour.
Each of the merchants who participated in the project has a listing on the site that includes a description of the business, hours of operation, contact information and an exterior shot of their establishment.
