Pyramid MDT president offers ideas and advice about web sites to members of the Contacts Advocates, Southeastern CT Exchange.

Groton - Members of the Southeastern Connecticut Exchange of Contact Advocates, Inc., a regional networking agency located throughout southern New England, learned the basics of why and how to develop a web site last week. About ten members of the exchange attended the informational session held at The University of Connecticut, Avery Point Campus in Groton, Conn.
Thor Torgersen, Pyramid MDT's president and CEO, explained the many benefits of a well developed and maintained web site. Expanding customer base, saving money on advertising, reaching an unlimited audience, and having customers searching for your business are just a few of the reasons Torgersen illustrated in his Power Point presentation.
The presentation also included important questions to keep in mind when interviewing and selecting a development and design team. Some of the things to keep in mind included, knowing how long the company has been operating, seeing some examples of their work, inquiring about the standard process the company uses when creating a web site, and whether or not they will register the domain name for your site.
