Thor returns from Japan.
Well it has been two weeks and I have just returned from Japan. For those of you that were not aware, I was participating in the Third World Butoku-Sai Martial Arts Exposition in Kyoto Japan. I was member of an American team consisting of 49 martial artists and one of nearly 1100 international participants from over 26 countries. It was a truly exciting event consisting of martial arts training, fighting, and demonstrations. I demonstrated Classical Karate-do and traditional Japanese weapons katas. I was presented with a spirit award and certificate for my demonstration of Karate-do. It was a great experience and I was fortunate to have a great group of team members to travel with.
I would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding while I was away. Special thanks to Peg Scofield for keeping things rolling so smoothly as well. I am excited to be back in the office and will be contacting everyone to touch base and keep all projects moving forward. It will take a couple of days to get back up to speed, but I excited to get back to work.
Once again thank you to all my clients for your patience and support. It was truly a memorable experience that I would not have been able to participate in without your help.

Pyramid Tech Tip
USB Flash Drive: Get one.
I use mine to transfer files quickly from home to work and carry an emergency boot disc for my PC in case of a crash. I transfer photos from my laptop and friends' to my flash drive to save drive space and backup and transfer mp3s from multiple computers easily.
One of the nicest things is it is recognized by Macs and PCs without any formatting or software. Truly a handy device, buy one and put it on your key ring and you will never have to worry about trying to email that 260MB report to your home computer.
Server Upgrades!
Pyramid is in the process of upgrading our hosting solutions in order to offer a more stable platform for all our hosting clients. In a few days many clients will begin receiving notification of migration to the new hosting platform. No action will be required by you the client. Pyramid will facilitate all phases of migration.
Migrations will not effect site uptime and be essentially a seamless process. Along with the new hosting environment we will be upgrading our mail client. It will be necessary for clients to update their email settings if you are using a third party mail client such as outlook or imail. Full instructions will be emailed to all clients explaining how to update your mail settings.
We are excited to implement this server upgrade in order to provide better service to our clients.
